Weekly Money Checkup

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on definitely on groceries. We probably also spent more because my husband went with me after he took me out for my favorite dinner.

2. Today I am thankful that it rained all last night and is cool and drizzling. Our front yard looks dry and dead because we have mites in the grass. My husband sprayed it with something Saturday so hopefully it kills the bugs and they didn't kill too much of my grass. :( I am SO thankful for rain!

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free thing I did last week that made me happy was start reorganizing our garage since all the gardening items and camping gear moved to the shed. We need to buy some hooks for our bikes and some other misc. items but I can almost park inside again!!

4. I will consider this week a success if I finish going through our closets, de-clutter them, and take things to Goodwill so I stop being anxious. Since we have moved so often I have had to stay on top of our junk so I don't have to unpack it when we move. Even though we aren't moving anymore I need to keep up on this to stay sane.

5. My night-stand contains  ....junk. The top of it has a lamp, kleenex, and a silver baby cup that holds chapstick and hair things. I am adding de-cluttering the inside of my nightstand to my list of cleaning.

Life is what this is, not super exciting! One really exciting thing happened though on our way to a BBQ last night. We drove by the new Ikea that is being built and it says it is opening July 27! It wasn't supposed to be opening until September so I am REALLY EXCITED! I have had a list since we moved here of things I wanted from Ikea and there was no Ikea to buy them at!

OMG Blogger just erased my comment! :(

MITES! That's awful. I hope the rain drowns them out. You have worked way to hard!

YEAAAAA for IKEA! I love that store. It's great for sweet items around the house!
