Sparkly Beauties for Monday

For some reason today's inspiration was circles. Almost all the pieces I completed or have brewing in my head used some form of them. Here are a few new items.....

Faceted Amethyst Dangles
Red Coral Braided Bracelet
Red Coral Dangles with Rounded Cross
Circles of Black Jade Earrings
Olive Jade Circle Earrings
Faceted Crystal Quartz Circle Earrings (these look stunning but were very hard to photograph)
I think I need some photo classes, or a class on manipulating light. My photos are never terrible but if you are good at getting the light right your photos can be GORGEOUS! I admire all those that have that skill. It might help if my camera was functioning, it keeps telling me the battery isn't compatible and turns off. Tomorrow I am taking it back as it is only a few months old and Colin being Colin bought insurance on it. This is now the third item that he has bought insurance/extended warranty and I have actually needed it. His tally is at over $1800 right now off the top of my head in savings. Its a good thing I have him around because I never buy extra warranty/insurance. I would just be stuck with a new camera that doesn't work correctly. Thanks Babe!

Almost Friday....I should be in bed!

I thought I might try out a new look again, but I think I might have to go back to my old one. This is just not growing on me. Here are a few things I was working on today. First a shell and kyanite bead earrings and pendant (not pictured) and some amethyst/crystal quartz pieces. I wasn't nearly as productive today as I would have like but we all have those days. Yesterday I debated about using the quicken trial and decided I don't need another program. I revamped my entire book keeping system in excel instead. I started a new way for filing my expenses and income and made a brand new workbook that is easy to use and has everything I need right now.

One thing to check off my giant list: Next is get website done, new business cards, and make jewelry care cards to put with each order. That is not to ambitious unless you see how many items I need to photograph and put on my website as well as make Paypal buttons. That's ok though, I love this! But I really love that I am finally getting my goals accomplished instead of drowning in them.
Tomorrow is my free day according to my calender so I will be finishing up my laptop bag :) and then maybe coming downstairs to work. Sorry the pictures are fuzzy, I cant find my roller to clean the black velvet. :(

Chocolate Explosion

Well there was a lot of glass involved in that other than the chocolate. Sunday nights I normally make a big meal so Colin has leftovers for a few days for lunch. He normally is a big help but last night not so much. I decided that brownies would be nice to have, when I pulled them out of the oven I set them on the top of the stove (that's where normal people put hot things, at least I thought) Colin after helping me had accidentally left the burner on, the burner where I just happened to set the brownies. Needless to say they sat there for maybe 10 minutes when I could smell the burning. I went into the kitchen just in time to have the entire Pyrex glass dish explode at me. No cuts but I am really glad I was wearing my glasses last night. My kitchen rug is ruined, you cant get glass out of it when shards are melted in with chocolate. Gurrrr is all I can say! I wish I had taken a picture now that I am not so angry, it was awful!

On a happy note I am very close to having my goal done with my jewelry. Here are a few pictures of what I got accomplished this weekend. Since there are so many pictures here are just a few of the combinations shown: Leather and Rose Quartz (pale pink), Black Jade and Turquoise (sterling flower), Sodalite with sterling fish's, Carnelian and Amethyst (these are carved), Rhodonite-Black Jade and a Lava Rock Pendant, Snowflake Obsidian with a fun clasp (pictured in front), another Snowflake Obsidian with sterling teardrops, and Turquoise with sterling beads (I took a closeup since they are so fun looking).

Most of these have coordinating bracelets as well that may be sold separately or with the necklace as a set. I thought I had enough pictures for the day though.

Enjoy Your Week!

Pictures are the Best!

Well I made true of my sleeping wish....the house is suffering though because of it. Thought that I would share a few pictures of my productive last few days.

Here are a ton of button bracelets laid out ready to be made, and a garnet set of necklace-bracelet-earrings. This picture doesn't do the earrings and charm justice. Let me know if you want better pictures.
I also finished a Sodalite set including a necklace and bracelet, and while I was in the process I made several earring choices. To the right is a sterling chain with Leopardskin Jasper dangling away.

Here is a 3 strand Red Coral Necklace, each strand is a different type bead. Amethyst and Pearls (I have coordinating earrings). And last but not least a double stranded Turquoise necklace and bracelet set.

I should be busy the next few days with a few new goodies for the Jewelry Party.
